Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang urged European businesses to accelerate their adoption of artificial intelligence during a keynote at the company’s GTC conference in Berlin, striking an optimistic tone even as some investors grow increasingly skeptical about the enormous sums being poured into AI infrastructure.
“For Europe to benefit from AI, and to have really created an AI ecosystem and AI economy, you need all the end markets, the end industries to adopt AI,” Huang told the audience, specifically naming the automotive, financial services and health care sectors as areas that need to transform.
“All of these different industries have to become AI companies,” Huang said, framing AI adoption not as an optional upgrade but as a structural requirement for sectors to remain competitive going forward.
Alongside the keynote, Nvidia unveiled a slate of new data center equipment, software, models and partnerships with companies across the continent, underscoring the company's push to embed itself deeper into Europe's industrial base rather than simply selling chips.
Among the announcements was the DSX POD, a reference design for complete AI factories that partners can build inside modular containers. Nvidia said the units can cut deployment time at a prepared site from roughly six months down to as little as 14 days.
Huang's pitch comes at a moment when confidence in AI infrastructure spending has become more contested among investors, making his call for broad-based industry adoption across Europe as much a defense of the sector's growth trajectory as a sales pitch for Nvidia's own hardware and software stack.
